Good Help Project: Get Involved
On 6 th February 2018 we are launching the ‘Good and Bad Help’ publication with Nesta.
This marks the start of the Good Help project proper. On the night we’ll be announcing a new award to recognise practitioners from across the UK and starting a programme of work, supported by the Big Lottery Fund, to increase the impact of good help practitioners across the country. We’d love to involve anyone inspired by this agenda in the project. We’ve identified three ways to do this, through:
Events
Running an event: Host an event in your organisation or community to explore what you think of ‘good help’ and how you think its impact could be increased. Get in touch if you’d like to pursue this.
Involving us in existing events: If you are attending or involved with an event this year that is relevant to this agenda and you’d like us to come and run a session on ‘good help’, please get in touch.
Projects
We are seeking a limited number of partners to work with in 2018 who want to:
Create new ‘good help’ projects; or
Increase the impact of existing ‘good help’ projects.
If you are interested in becoming a partner of the Good Help project in 2018, please get in touch and describe, in an email, the type of project you would like to undertake. We will be accepting expressions of interest for partners until 6 March 2018.
The Award
The full details of the award will be announced on 6 Feb; but, in essence, its aim is to recognise ‘good help’ practitioners and help them increase their impact.
If, however, there’s another way you’d like to be involved in the project, please get in touch.
