WHAT HAPPENED —

In 2010 Robert Madelin became the Director General of DG CONNECT, then DG INFSO and Neelie Kroes Vice President of the EC with responsibility for digital. Together they introduced the concept of the Digital Agenda, the policy programme aimed at doing two things, supporting digital to:

• Create new economic growth across Europe
• Create new models of open policy making

In this ambitious programme, Osca has had three principal roles:

1. Facilitation of the Digital Agenda Assembly Conferece
2. Strategic Advice on online engagement
3. Delivery of online engagement

To deliver this work we have been part of a trans-European partnership led by Tech 4i2
